Arranging Surgery
- Can we arrange to do the consultation one day, the procedure the next, so that I can fly home the following day?
- It's possible…but it takes some advance planning. While many of our patients fly in from out of town, Dr. Harris' surgical calendar is set many months in advance. To arrange a three-day procedure plan, please call our office.
- How soon can I arrange a transplant procedure?
- Obviously, the more notice you can give us the better. We like to work with each patient individually to consider each person's circumstance. We are usually booked weeks to months in advance; however, we do have rearrangements in the schedule and can work with patients whose schedules are more flexible. Call our office to determine what might best meet your needs.
- Does HSC offer reimbursement if I travel from out-of-town?
- HSC offers the following travel reimbursement program: For our patients who travel more than 100 miles to our clinic, HSC will reimburse actual travel expenses up to 10% of the surgical fees (with a maximum of $500) and provide one night's lodging at an HSC selected hotel. Instead of a credit on the surgical fees, a patient can choose to receive up to 100 additional grafts as the reimbursement. Please contact the clinic directly to discuss your travel arrangements.
