The Harris SAFE System is a combination of a patented device and method for performing follicular unit extraction. It is essentially a three part procedure where a sharp instrument is used to score the tougher surface of the skin; the SAFE Scribe is then inserted to dissect the follicular unit from the surrounding skin, and this is followed by the removal of the graft by forceps (tweezers).
